Does ContextCue upload my folder?+
No. Folder scanning and filtering happen locally. Only the files you choose are prepared and passed to ChatGPT or Claude when you attach them.
Why is an account required?+
Your first attachment works without an account. Sign in after that so ContextCue can apply plan limits and track your monthly usage.
What counts as one attachment?+
One successful group of selected files added to an AI conversation counts as one attachment. Failed or cancelled attempts do not count.
Are sensitive files included?+
Known credential files, environment files, private keys, binaries, and generated directories are automatically excluded.
Are folders saved as projects?+
No. The current extension keeps the selected folder in the active page session and does not create a cloud project library.
